UPDATE
Backwater Studio is back in the saddle ! Weekend Markets are thriving here on the Coast. Yes, there are "some" changes, but very few.Market business has been brisk and the customers are out in force here on the Coast. I am booked into Festivals going on through the next year. I have a large display at Disco Warehouse in New Orleans which is back open and in business. If its Funky, its Fun at Backwater Studio! Backwater Studio produces a Casual Coastal Living and Folk Art (including backyard habitat and birdhouses) that reflect the nuances of the southern country, coastal and bayou regions. Welcome to my world - a mixture of Folk Art and the eclectic world we have re purposed and up-cycled around it including backyard habitat (birdhouses, bat houses, butterfly houses, custom bird houses, model houses for those interested in a model of their home or a model for a presentation), insect houses and feeders for every backyard visitor, and home deco yard art. I rarely take any of my paintings, which are usually very large, to open Festival exhibits - those I send straight to the Gallery. Art is a full contact sport - and I strive to achieve every day! New products are added every week. The Art moves quickly, but if you see a piece you like that has sold - ask if we have more that are similar that are available. We are updating the site and changing over to Square invoicing - each piece of art is unique and requires special shipping arrangements. For that reason - it is easier for us to invoice, separately, each unique piece using Square.
